Rudder Seal and Fibretube Assemblies (Elite rudder seal)

All it requires is a hole bored through the top support shelf and the hull. It is then simply a matter of bonding the tube and seal carrier in with adhesive, then finally bolting through the steering shelf

Two Nitrile Lip Seals are installed in the Upper Seal Housing to give maximum sealing capability.  Thrust Washer (Vesconite) above Seal Head is 4mm thick. (A).

Chatfield Marine has developed this highly efficient rudder seal and combination rudder tube kit which is extremely easy to install.

Tube lengths can be varied upon request
